Lashaunda is a special young lady. She has endured some of the most difficult challenges in life. Still, despite immense adversity, she remains one of the kindest and most giving young professionals in the peer advocacy community. Lashaunda is a mother of 4 and loves doing everything she can to make her children happy. Lashaunda spent her childhood always in search of happiness as she experienced abandonment by her birth family and many foster homes throughout her childhood. Stability and smiles are what Lashaunda prioritizes for her babies to ensure they do not experience moments of hurt the way she did as a child. Lashaunda offers her lived experiences to serve as a mentor for young girls who are currently impacted by the foster care system and young mothers. When Lashaunda is not helping, she makes meals for others as she loves to cook and makes delicious, deviled eggs! Lashaunda gives so much and always asks for so little. A heart like hers deserves a small gesture of happiness on the holidays.
