During her childhood, she faced many challenges within her family of origin, which ultimately led to her placement in the foster care system. Despite these difficult experiences, Shauntay has shown remarkable resilience and strength as she has aged out of the system.

Shauntay is having difficulty staying warm this winter, and a set of long underwear would make a significant difference for her. By wearing it underneath her clothes, she could comfortably spend time outside each day—the place where she feels most at ease.
