Melady is a remarkable young woman. Her caregivers believe she deserves much more than what they can provide. She never asks for anything in return; instead, she actively helps around the house and is wonderful with the younger foster children. She looks out for them, encourages them, and supports them. With a heart of gold, Melady simply desires a normal family life. She is energetic, kind, and loving! Although adulting feels daunting for her and her past trauma has not provided her with many positive experiences related to adulthood, she is fortunate to have amazing foster parents who are eager to support her along the way. Melady is also excited about pursuing a career in social work.

Thanks to a few very generous supporters who have underwritten the cost of this wish, it is only $10 - today only!*** Melady is preparing to start her college classes and is focused on being cost-effective with her supplies. To save money, she plans to use her iPad for digital textbook rentals and note-taking. Organized and efficient, she aims to minimize her expenses, especially since her foster parents are helping her with much of the financial burden. To enhance her iPad experience, Melady intends to use an Apple Pencil, which will allow her to take notes and highlight important aspects of her textbooks with ease. Additionally, she looks forward to using the Apple Pencil for drawing and coloring during her downtime. With these tools, she hopes to balance her academic needs with her creative interests while keeping costs down.
