Kali is starting to talk and is picking up words from being around the other children in her home and at her daycare center. She watches the other kids play with their tablets and often pouts because she isn't able to join in. Having her own tablet would allow her to play games and help enhance her vocabulary. She is learning shapes and numbers, and having access to a tablet would be a great way to continue her learning, as there are many educational programs available.
Kali is 1 year old and lives in CA
Kali and her sister were removed from their home because their mother had been living in a car with them and was involved in a car accident while under the influence. Kali is thriving in her current caregiver's home. She loves playing with her pretend kitchen toys and her toy xylophone. During the day, she attends daycare. When her CASA volunteer visits, she is always giggling and excited. Like her big sister, she has the brightest, biggest eyes and curly dark hair.
