Three ring binder for Honesty for her 5th grade graduation
Honesty, 10 years old

SparkWheelHonesty has faced many challenges in her life. She has been in and out of foster care throughout her childhood. Her biological mother lost her battle with addiction, and although she is currently in a supportive foster home, she still struggles with a range of emotions. She is separated from her five siblings but cherishes their weekly visits. Honesty is making great progress in her small group, where she is working hard on life and social skills.
Honesty is excited about graduating from 5th grade and moving on to middle school. When asked what could help ease her transition, she expressed a desire to feel less pressure to be accepted, especially since she doesn’t have a mom. She mentioned that having a three-ring binder would boost her confidence and help her start middle school on a positive note. Honesty feels somewhat different because she does not have a mom, and she worries that others might see her as different and not accept her. However, she is beginning to understand that the right friends will embrace her for who she is, regardless of her situation. All she wants is to fit in, and having the right tools will help her enter this new chapter with her head held high.

"Congratulations on your soon to be graduation from 5th grade! Each year is a learning process! You will be liked for the person that you are and the confidence you present to others. Be confident about yourself and that will be a beacon to others. Others will grow to like you for who you are and not about what you have or do not have."
