Dennis is a natural leader. Although he can sometimes come across as bossy, he genuinely cares for others and struggles to show his caring side to some people. He is also very intuitive, quickly picking up information; however, due to his disabilities, he sometimes jumbles it in his mind, which frustrates him. His mind is always working overtime, and he frequently needs redirection. Dennis excels at building things, such as Legos, and creating worlds in Minecraft on the computer. He is currently in a foster home that offers him incredible patience and love, and it's wonderful to witness his growth.

Dennis has never had the opportunity to attend a camp, but he has discovered one that is designed specifically for him. Camp Wonderland provides a genuine camp experience for children and families who might not otherwise be able to participate in these activities. As the middle child of five siblings, Dennis has always followed his brothers around. This camp experience will allow him to develop his own identity and connect with other kids who share similar struggles and experiences. The camp has a Minecraft theme, and Dennis can’t stop talking about how amazing it would be to go!
