Mariama is currently a full-time employee at a nursing home while also pursuing her studies to become a home health aide. She has very little leisure time for herself. When she does find some free time, she enjoys doing nails, applying makeup, and cooking. She is being supported by CarePlus.

During the colder months of the year, Mariama's apartment experienced burst pipes, causing flooding that damaged all of her appliances, including the refrigerator and stove. As a result, she had to throw away her food and spent a significant amount of money on takeout. Her living program is doing its best to support her, but the landlords have not yet replaced the damaged appliances.
