Killian is a young man who is quiet and reserved. He is respectful and has earned his high school diploma. During his time in care, Killian witnessed firsthand the negative impact that drugs can have on individuals and their relationships. After much reflection and several years in care, he decided to advocate for himself by requesting that there be no contact with his father, due to the toxicity and negative effects that relationship had on his life. Looking ahead, Killian is excited to become a successful young adult. He has recently been accepted into the TLSS program, where he has his own apartment and will learn how to live independently as an adult.

Killian is looking for a sound machine or noise blocker to help him adjust to living alone in his apartment. Since the apartment doesn’t have a TV, he can hear every little thing his neighbors say or do, which often feels louder than it actually is. As Killian struggles with mental health issues, this constant noise is starting to affect his daily life and causing him to have sleepless nights. He hopes that a sound machine will help relieve the stress he’s experiencing in this situation.
