Andre is a great kid who is doing his best to navigate life in foster care. At school, he often feels different from his classmates—not only because of his experiences but also due to the things he doesn't have. One thing he really wishes for is a pair of Nike socks. He sees other kids wearing their nice brand-name clothes and wishes he could fit in a bit more. Sometimes, his aunt struggles to buy all the name-brand items for him. Being in foster care already makes him feel out of place, and having similar things might help lighten that burden. Receiving Nike socks for his birthday would truly make Andre very happy.
