Foster Parent Association of WilkesKim entered foster care during the holidays, one of the hardest times to be uprooted. She came in scared and angry. She has been settling in since then. Starting a new school was tough, but she is finding her footing. She feels safe now. Kim has a new dog she loves, movies to watch, and food in the house.
Kim wishes for a set of chalk pastels so she can draw. This will help her release her emotions and create beautiful art. Drawing would be a great way for her to express her frustrations. Kim has been in foster care for the past four months and has been struggling with this experience.
