Dayle is an Information Technology major who has worked hard to create a new life after a challenging childhood marked by emotional and physical abuse. Following a violent incident, she chose to distance herself from her parents for safety. Now living on campus and supporting herself through financial aid, part-time work, and occasional help from her grandmother, she also receives psychiatric care for PTSD. Despite her challenges, Dayle finds joy in technology, playing bass guitar, practicing yoga, and participating in her school’s Plant and Crochet Clubs, which contribute to her personal growth and recovery.

Dayle is hoping to get a bike to assist with her transportation needs as she balances part-time work, classes, and other commitments. It’s quite a hike to her job, and having a bike would make her commute much quicker and more manageable. Reliable transportation would significantly ease the physical and mental strain of long walks, especially after late shifts. This support would mean a great deal to Dayle, helping her maintain stability and stay focused on her goals.
