Robert is a creative young man who recently entered foster care after being removed from his home due to neglect and abuse. As the oldest of four siblings, he has faced significant challenges in his life. Robert struggles with some health conditions that contribute to his being underweight for his age. He also has a learning disability and an anxiety disorder, which can make navigating life a bit more difficult for him. Despite these challenges, Robert has a passion for sports, particularly basketball and football, and he enjoys dancing. He is shy by nature, but his fantastic smile reveals a spark of joy that shines through. Robert is determined to overcome his obstacles and find happiness in his new situation.

Robert is a third grader with a learning disability who is working hard to improve in school. He has been attending tutoring sessions where he has learned about helpful YouTube channels and study apps to prepare for his Standards of Learning tests and other subjects. Although he is making progress, having an iPad would make things much easier for him. With an iPad, he could study anywhere, allowing him the flexibility to learn on the go and make the most of the resources available to him.
