Karma was placed into foster care when she was about 10 years old. She has bounced around different homes with foster parents and family members. Her mother passed away after taking her own life. Even though Karma misses her mom, she finds peace in music.

Karma has always had a deep love for music, a passion that truly blossomed when she joined her school's music program in the 6th grade. Music is a way to feel connected to her late mother. Every time she plays, it’s like she feels her mother's spirit right beside her. For a long time, Karma has dreamed of having her own 6-string acoustic/electric ukulele. She hopes that with this instrument, she'll be able to express her emotions and cherish the memories of her mother even more. Owning a beautiful ukulele would mean the world to her.
