Shauntay is an incredible young woman who has overcome significant hardships in her life. During her childhood, she faced many challenges within her family of origin, which ultimately led to her placement in the foster care system. Despite these difficult experiences, Shauntay has shown remarkable resilience and strength as she has aged out of the system.

Shauntay is a thoughtful and determined young woman who has weathered immense adversity. After growing up in a home marked by instability, she spent much of her teenage years in the foster care system. Currently, Shauntay doesn’t have regular access to even simple kitchen items. Cooking for herself is one of the few ways she feels in control of her day and connected to something comforting. A small set of pots, pans, and spoons would allow her to prepare healthy meals. Granting this wish will make a huge difference for Shauntay!
