Jacob was in foster care since the age of 12. He has overcome a lot of tragedy and grief in his young life and has become a man of strong character. He has emancipated himself from foster care and is a hard-working father who has his children residing with him. He loves his two babies and cares for his family in his time away from work. He is such a hard worker that he is known by his co-workers as “Super-Jake”. He is always willing to take on challenging jobs and even returns to his former transitional housing program to offer help and mentor other transitional-aged youth. Jake is also going to college part-time online.

Jacob has recently encountered ongoing problems with his laptop, making it increasingly challenging for him to keep up with his coursework. After consulting a repair technician, he discovered that his current device is outdated and struggles to support the advanced software essential for his studies. The technician recommended that he invest in a newer model to effectively meet his educational demands and stay on track with his learning. Jacob would greatly appreciate it if his wish for a new laptop could be fulfilled.
