Foster Parent Association of WilkesMattie is a sweetheart who has come so far since coming into care. Weekly therapy, a lot of nurture, care, and consistency has made a big difference in her life. An adoption plan is in place for her and she is really looking forward to her new name. She loves stuffed animals, hugs, and being around others. Her favorite colors are pink and purple.
For her birthday, Mattie wishes for a Chromebook to help her improve her reading level over the summer. With a Chromebook, she will be able to access a reading program that her teacher recommended for summer learning. This program will guide her, help her progress, and hopefully prepare her for the upcoming school year in the fall. She plans to use it five days a week so she can do her best work.
