Kyra is a caring and determined young woman. She spent most of her teenage years in foster care before being placed with her grandmother. When her grandmother’s dementia progressed, Kyra was forced to move out and spent over 3 years homeless, often couch-surfing or sleeping in her car. Kyra recently moved into an apartment and is finally able to prioritize her career, mental health and physical health.

Kyra just moved into a supportive housing apartment after experiencing years of homelessness. She is so excited to finally have a room of her own and is especially grateful for the large closet in her space. Installing lights in her closet would make it easier for Kyra to organize her belongings. With better organization, Kyra hopes to create a more comforting and welcoming environment.
