Daniela immigrated to the U.S. from Romania at age 9 due to her biological parents' inability to care for her and her siblings. After entering the foster care system, she was adopted by a New Jersey family, along with another Romanian child. Despite being intelligent and learning English quickly, Daniela struggled to adjust and has since lived with two more families. She is currently recommended for residential treatment before potentially being reunified with a family interested in adopting her. Daniela enjoys visiting her resource parents and is eager to learn new coping skills. She hopes to attend college and become a veterinarian to help animals.

Daniela recently moved into a residential treatment program and is happy to have her own room. She is currently redecorating and wants a new comforter set to replace her old one. She looks forward to using cozy new blankets when she goes to sleep!
