Kris is an adventurous and intelligent person. He loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s swimming in the summer or building snowmen and having snowball fights in the winter. Having lived in foster care for several years, he has faced challenges being separated from his mother and siblings, which has left him grappling with feelings of grief and loss. To cope, he often turns to his imagination. Video games like Minecraft provide him a way to socialize with friends and express his creativity by solving puzzles and designing new worlds. Kris is also eager to learn. When given the right support at school, he truly shines and shows his potential. With a big heart, he’s generous and caring towards others, though he can sometimes struggle to manage his anger. However, he’s always willing to recognize when he’s made a mistake and seeks to make things right. Ultimately, Kris is a young man who needs patience, understanding, and, above all, to know that he matters in this world and is loved.

Kris is spending the next week at respite with a new family. He always wants to pitch in and help wherever he can. There are three other teenage boys in the home and Kris wants to make a good impression. He would love to treat them all to a yummy breakfast of donuts, sandwiches, and coffee to start the day and weekend off right!
