Obed is a very bright boy who has autism and a remarkable talent for numbers. He is an exceptional math wizard and takes great pride in his math and map-reading abilities. His foster mom says she has never gotten lost while driving with Obed; he always corrects her if she misses a turn. He enjoys spending time with his cousins and friends and is always on the lookout for fun activities. Obed likes riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, reading to his siblings, and playing gaga ball.

Obed had his first chilly football practice last night, and even though the temperature dipped to around 60 degrees, he realized he really needs a base layer for the games. Recently, he was given the position of wide receiver, thanks to his impressive speed. But he knows he won’t be able to move quickly if he’s shivering on the field. His foster mom, who’s been incredibly supportive, has already invested a lot in his football gear, but he wants to make sure he's fully prepared for the season ahead.
