Vertez is a very sensitive boy who doesn't speak very much. He has witnessed a lot of scary things, and is learning ways to feel more safe and secure. He relies on his siblings for comfort and security, and is very nurturing to them as well. He likes to watch other kids play and enjoys playing with play doh and other hands on materials.

Vertez has experienced many frightening situations in his short life, but things have been relatively stable for the past year. He still struggles with his emotions and often feels anger and frustration, which sometimes affects his success at school and at home. For his birthday, he will be thrilled to open a cool gift of Transformers. He loves superheroes, and this will be a great activity for him!
