Natalie spent four years in foster care and was never formally adopted. A family took guardianship of her during that time, but when she started college, they disowned her. Recently, Natalie met her biological family, but she barely knows them and struggles to trust them. She is currently enrolled in the PROFS program at Kutztown University as an exploratory major, seeking to determine her best career path. Natalie considers Kutztown her home, as she is an independent student with limited family and financial support. To support herself, she works a part-time job while attending college full-time.

Natalie is hoping to receive an Uber gift card to help cover her transportation costs to and from work. Currently, she relies on Uber rides or rides from others, but the expenses have become overwhelming and hard to manage. Despite her efforts to find a job closer to campus, she hasn’t had any success, and quitting is not an option. Recently, Natalie signed up for driving lessons and is determined to get her driver’s license soon so she can gain more independence.
