Judy lives with her grandparents, who became her foster parents after she entered kinship care. Their house feels warm and safe, filled with the smell of her grandma’s cooking and her grandpa’s old country music playing softly in the background. Even though life has changed a lot for Judy, she’s learning that family can look different but still feel like love. Her grandparents make sure she has what she needs and remind her every day that she is strong, brave, and deeply cared for. Judy loves being outside more than anything. Soccer is her favorite sport—she loves the rush of running down the field feeling the wind in her hair, and hearing her friends cheer her name when she scores a goal. After school, she and her friends often meet at the park to play tag, climb on the jungle gym, or kick the soccer ball back and forth until the sun starts to set. Those are the moments Judy feels free and happy—laughing so hard her cheeks hurt, knowing that no matter what she’s been through, she still has joy, friends, and family who believe in her.

Judy is asking for an electric scooter so she can have fun riding outside and keep up with her friends. She loves playing outdoors and exploring her neighborhood, and having her own scooter would make that even more exciting. It would give her a fun way to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy some adventure while feeling independent and happy.
