Judy lives with her grandparents, who became her foster parents after she entered kinship care. Her grandparents make sure she has what she needs and remind her every day that she is strong, brave, and deeply cared for. Judy loves being outdoors, especially playing soccer. She enjoys the thrill of running on the field, feeling the wind in her hair, and hearing her friends cheer her on when she scores. After school, she and her friends go to the park to play tag, climb on the jungle gym, or kick a soccer ball until sunset. In those moments, Judy feels happy and free, laughing with friends and appreciating the joy, support, and love from her family.
