The Lost & Found InstituteTina moved to the United States with her parents but soon ended up in foster care. This was a difficult time for her, as adjusting to a new country and being away from family was hard. To cope, she finds joy in singing and writing songs in her notebook, which helps her express her feelings. Tina loves spending time outdoors, whether walking or relaxing in the sun, as nature calms her. She also enjoys cooking, especially recipes that connect her to her home and culture. Despite life's challenges, her creativity and love for simple things keep her spirit alive.
Tina is asking for a Target gift card to help cover groceries for her household. With rising prices, it’s been harder for her to keep basic items stocked—things like fresh produce, pantry staples, and household essentials. With food assistance on pause, this would give her a little breathing room and allow her to shop for what her family actually needs.
