She has faced challenges after aging out of the foster care system, but remains committed to building a better future for herself and her family. This year, she earned her GED and is excited to further her education. Currently, she relies on food stamps to support her family while she works towards her goals. However, with the government shutdown, she is unsure how she will continue to provide for them.
