Voices for Children - RiversideCharlotte was removed from her biological parents due to drug misuse and neglect and was adopted by her maternal great-grandfather. After turning 16 and facing the loss of her elderly caregiver, she entered protective custody, becoming a non-minor dependent. Now living independently for the first time, she does not have a strong support system. Her new CASA is her main visitor, and she recently gave birth to a baby in September 2026.
Charlotte is currently searching for a job but has not yet found one. Her SNAP benefits, which previously helped her manage her expenses, are currently on hold, leaving her budget stretched thin. She is requesting a gift card to purchase food and cleaning supplies until she secures a job and starts working.
