Cage spent 18 months in foster care while his mom worked toward reunification. During that time he formed a real bond with his foster family who never stopped showing up for him. He is energetic and fun-loving and has been through enough to know how much it means to finally belong somewhere.

Cage has shown a strong interest in Pokémon cards, which bring him joy and help him connect with other kids his age. He and his brother also collect these cards together, and this shared hobby has helped strengthen their bond. Collecting and trading cards is a fun social activity that promotes positive interactions and boosts confidence.
