Zane entered foster care in 2022 along with his older sister due to unsafe living conditions in their parents' home. Recently, Zane experienced further housing instability, as he had been living with his mother and sister in their car. Fortunately, in the past week, the family secured an apartment, and Zane is very excited about it. He enjoys participating in sports, especially baseball and basketball, and like most kids his age, he is also interested in online gaming. Zane is a polite, attentive, and sociable young man.

Zane is currently trying out for the basketball team at his local high school. He is an exceptional athlete, but he lacks the financial resources to purchase a high-quality pair of basketball shoes, such as Jordans. Zane's holiday wish is for a pair of basketball sneakers that will help him improve his performance on the court. Sports serve as both an emotional and physical outlet for him, and being a part of the team would greatly benefit him.
