VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountyKayla is an amazing little girl who was recently places in a foster home with her younger sibling. Kayla loves being a big sister to her little brother. Foster Care has been tough on Kayla and she remains hopeful she will be going back home soon. Kayla loves school and gets very good grades. She has experienced quite a bit of trauma in her young life but has not allowed her trauma to stop her from seeing good in all people.
Kayla takes the bus to school every day. She prefers wearing hoodies rather than jackets, and her favorite color is pink. One of her Christmas wishes is for a new pink hoodie. Kayla loves the Christmas holidays because she gets to spend quality time with her younger sibling. She will be very surprised and extremely happy to find a really cool pink hoodie under her Christmas tree.
