Help keep April's water on this holiday season

Foster Alumni Mentors

April is a caring and determined mother of five who is deeply committed to creating a stable and loving life for her children. Having experienced foster care as a teen, she has shown incredible resilience and growth, using her past challenges as motivation to move forward. April describes herself as caring and anxious-minded, yet she continues to push forward with strength and determination each day. She remains focused on building a better future for her family and prioritizing their well-being. Her current goals include maintaining stable housing for herself and her children and becoming more financially stable. April continues to show perseverance and dedication as she works toward creating long-term security and a positive future for her family.

April's water is scheduled to be shut off on December 10th, right in the middle of the holiday season. She lost her SNAP benefits for a period, causing her to use the money that would have gone toward her water bill to buy food for her family. Additionally, due to the season, her work hours have been limited, and she is doing her best to make ends meet. This support would help keep April's water on for her family through the holiday season.
