Joseph is a guardianship foster child living with his grandfather, a kind and elderly man who is wheelchair bound. A rough and tumble boy, Joseph enjoys the outdoors and has been raised by his grandfather for most of his life, helping him with daily tasks due to his disabilities. While he is caring and compassionate, Joseph longs for a normal childhood, desiring to live without the constant struggles that weigh on him and to experience a sense of peace in his life.

As winter approaches, Joseph finds himself unprepared for the cold weather. Having recently grown, he is in need of some warm clothing. A well-fitting coat, along with gloves, a hat, and winter boots, would be just what he needs to stay comfortable this season.
