Jamarie's journey began in high school in Stockton, and after relocating to Sacramento, he faced homelessness while juggling three jobs to graduate early. His resilience through multiple moves and personal challenges has significantly shaped his commitment to education and social justice.

Jamarie has always relied on public transportation, which can be hectic and challenging, but music has been his anchor, keeping him grounded and positive. Over the years, he has gone through numerous cheap headphones, often misplacing them while moving or switching between buses and light rails. This experience has led him to desire a pair of AirPods, as he believes they would be more durable and easier to keep track of during his daily commute.
