Obed is a very bright boy who has autism and a remarkable talent for numbers. He is an exceptional math wizard and takes great pride in his math and map-reading abilities. His foster mom says she has never gotten lost while driving with Obed; he always corrects her if she misses a turn. He enjoys spending time with his cousins and friends and is always on the lookout for fun activities. Obed likes riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline, reading to his siblings, and playing gaga ball.

Obed loves both Star Wars and Legos—and it’s hard to tell which he loves more! He can spend hours building with Legos, a hobby that helps him practice following instructions and strengthens his focus and attention span. This year, he’s wishing for a Lego set of a spaceship from the Clone Wars, and he would be overjoyed to find it under the Christmas tree.
