Jacob was in foster care since the age of 12. He has overcome a lot of tragedy and grief in his young life and has become a man of strong character. He has emancipated himself from foster care and is a hard-working father who has his children residing with him. He loves his two babies and cares for his family in his time away from work. He is such a hard worker that he is known by his co-workers as “Super-Jake”. He is always willing to take on challenging jobs and even returns to his former transitional housing program to offer help and mentor other transitional-aged youth. Jake is also going to college part-time online.

Jacob recently moved into his very first home since leaving foster care, and he’s working hard to create a safe, stable space he can truly call his own. A dresser would make a huge difference as he organizes his belongings and builds a home that feels comfortable and lasting. He is responsible, motivated, and determined to create a bright future. Having proper furniture is a meaningful step toward independence and stability. This dresser set would give him both the comfort and confidence he deserves as he begins this new chapter.
