Jose used to be obsessed with video games, but his foster family enrolled him in soccer camp last year. Now, he happily sets aside his devices in favor of a soccer ball. Jose loves playing soccer, and he spends his device time watching videos that teach him new moves and tricks to try on the field. Soccer is helping him learn about teamwork, and having coaches to encourage him provides positive male role models that he previously lacked in his life. This newfound passion for soccer is helping him thrive both on the field and off.

Jose wants to continue practicing on the soccer field all winter, or at least as long as the field is not covered in snow. He has requested an athletic ski mask to keep warm on cold winter days, so he can focus on his footwork.
