VA DSS - Chesapeake City CountyDonnelle is a wonderful young man who has been placed in foster care without his sibling. He was very upset that he had to be separated from his sibling but he eventually understood it was for the best. Donnelle has not allowed his placement in foster care stop his dream of going into the military and becoming a pilot once he graduates. He has been in ROTC since the 9th grade and is very focused on his goals. Donnelle is working through the trauma he suffered before coming into foster care. He likes the stability he has had since being placed in foster care but he misses his family.
Donelle will be able to visit with his younger sibling over the holidays. He is super excited and would like to surprise his siblings with a nice dinner. Donelle always thinks of others and hardly ever puts himself first. This would provide Donelle with a sense of pride and independence.
