Alondra is currently in the foster care system and is living with her aunt at the moment. Her aunt states that she is a ray of sunshine and that when times get hard, she always finds a way to be happy and look at the bright side of things. Alondra is an aspiring artist; she says that it brings her to her happy place, where she can express through her art how she feels. She hopes that she can become a famous artist one day who can sell her art and even teach art classes to young foster children. She states that she even created an art club in her school and that she has 7 members now in her art club, which made Alondra very excited and determined to make the most out of the club that she created. She is an A+ student in her school, which she attends. She stated that she wants to attend NYU and get an art degree there. She wants to be a role model to those who don't have that in their lives, specifically, she says, the youth. She says that if it weren't for her aunt, she probably would have never done art. Aside from art, she also loves to play basketball with her friends. Alondra says that she likes to get her aunt to play basketball with her, she says that in a way it's like it brought them closer. Alondra is a talented child who is striving to do the best she can for her future.

Alondra is wishing for a paint set for Christmas this year; she has only been doing her art on paper and pen or pencil. She states that she is hoping this can come true because she has been wanting to try doing acrylic paints and watercolors, but acrylic is where she really wants to focus on. She says that she doesn't want to ask her aunt because she knows that the expenses are tight and at times, they struggle to get food. Which is why she is placing a request for this Christmas gift for herself. She wants to share that she is very grateful for all of the support that she is getting and that she is excited to see if her wish is granted.
