Abby is a bright and resilient young girl who has experienced a rough foster care journey, yet continues to shine with her intelligence and kindness. She’s very smart and loves learning new things, often surprising others with her thoughtful ideas and curiosity. Abby is also incredibly friendly and has a warm, welcoming personality that makes it easy for her to connect with others. One of her favorite activities is playing basketball. Being on the court helps her feel confident, focused, and free, and it gives her a positive outlet for her energy and emotions. Despite the challenges she’s faced, Abby keeps a strong, positive spirit. Her resilience, love for basketball, and caring nature make her truly special, and she deserves stability, encouragement, and opportunities that help her continue to grow and thrive.

Abby wishes for a pair of new shoes because she needs comfortable, everyday footwear that fits well and helps her feel confident. She’s active throughout the day at school and during daily routines, and having shoes that are supportive and in good condition would make a big difference for her comfort. After a rough foster care journey, Abby hasn’t always had the chance to have shoes that feel like her own or are chosen just for her. Receiving new shoes would give her a sense of pride, stability, and normalcy. Something as simple as well-fitting shoes would help Abby feel prepared, comfortable, and confident as she goes about her day.
