Kayla was raised by her grandmother for most of her life until her grandmother became ill and was unable to care for her. Over the past few years, she has been in multiple living situations that have not worked out for her. Kayla is always willing to help friends in need and loves to sing and cook when she has the opportunity. She envisions herself working in a nursing home or with the elderly in the future.

Kayla often finds herself in living situations where resources are limited. Although she may have access to basic essentials and hygiene items, they are not always her preferred choices. She enjoys cooking for herself and others and loves to share meals of her choosing. A gift card for a grocery store would enable her to purchase both cooking ingredients and personal care items that she prefers.
