After coming to America, Josthyn spent time in foster care and then endured three years of homelessness. Recently, he and his family have finally been housed, giving them a place they can truly call home. However, they currently have no furniture or household essentials to make their new space comfortable. Despite these challenges, Josthyn is a full-time student and also works a part-time job to help support his parents. His determination and resilience shine through as he balances school, work, and family responsibilities, striving to build a stable and hopeful future.

Josthyn is wishing for a phone this holiday season. After experiencing homelessness for a long time, he currently has very little, and having a phone is essential for rebuilding stability. A phone would allow him to stay connected with his family, access bus routes, manage important banking needs, and navigate daily responsibilities. This gift would ease his financial burden and give him a much-needed sense of security and safety as he works toward a more stable future.
