June grew up in the foster care system and has recently moved into her own independent apartment. She is a funny, creative, and goal-oriented young adult who can brighten up a room with her jokes and smile. June loves music, whether she is listening to it or writing her own songs. She enjoys playing the piano and guitar, as well as singing. In her free time, she likes playing Minecraft, dancing, and chatting with friends on social media. June also values the time she spends with her mentor, and together they encourage each other to explore nature more often.

June doesn’t have a laptop, but she really wants one so she can have virtual visits with her mentor. Due to the distance between them, June’s mentor isn’t always able to visit in person. They would love to play board games, stream videos, and have online calls. This gift would make a significant impact for June by allowing her to stay connected with her mentor, who has become a major supporter in her life!
