Luis grew up in the foster care system, but in recent years, he has been able to reconnect with his family and has built a strong, loving bond with his mom and cousins. He is preparing to return to school to pursue mechanic classes, continuing to invest in his future and personal growth. Luis is a hardworking and motivated young man who will be returning to school at RCC after the holidays to pursue his automotive studies. He is also in the process of exiting our THP program and transitioning toward greater independence. As Luis prepares for this next chapter, reliable transportation remains one of his biggest challenges. Luis currently experiences frequent car troubles, which make it difficult to consistently commute to work and school. An e-bike would be a tremendous blessing for Luis, providing him with dependable, cost-effective transportation and reducing the stress and barriers caused by unreliable vehicles. Having an e-bike would allow Luis to maintain punctuality, independence, and stability as he balances school, work, and his transition out of the program. This gift would greatly support Luis’s continued growth, responsibility, and success as he works toward his educational and career goals.
