Ernest is a bright young man who works hard to build a successful future. His goal is to join a union as an apprentice, and he has been actively applying to various unions in his area. He will soon age out, and staying busy helps him stay out of trouble when he is not working as an overnight security guard at a warehouse. Ernest has also transformed his grandfather’s garage into an “entertainment zone,” complete with a projector for movies and video games, where he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and cousins.

Ernest says that playing video games helps him stay “off the streets” and out of trouble. He, along with his girlfriend and cousins, loves gaming, but his current system is old, slow, and often freezes, forcing frequent restarts. Ernest has been saving money to buy a PlayStation 5, believing it would continue to motivate him to stay focused and out of trouble. Receiving his own PS5 would be an exciting and meaningful gift that supports both his hobbies and his commitment to making positive choices.
