Before entering the child welfare system, she lived with a caregiver who gave her sleep medicine every night instead of helping her develop a healthy bedtime routine. As a result, Allison has difficulty settling down and falling asleep on her own. Her foster family is patiently helping her develop new evening routines—quiet music, a calming bath, a favorite stuffed animal, and soothing lotions—to guide her toward sweet, restful dreams.

Allison loves playing games that mimic real life: tea parties, shopping at the supermarket, and making pizza with her toy food set. She would be thrilled to have a play kitchen, which would enhance her imagination and creativity during her pretend cooking adventures. This gift would give her even more ways to explore, learn, and have fun while playing.
