Strength Based Community Change (SBCC)Alaisha is a true fighter. After spending her entire childhood in the foster care system, she successfully aged out and didn't let the statistics hold her back. Today, she is a dedicated college student working toward her degree and building a future for herself.
Alaisha is preparing to become a first-time mother, but she doesn’t have the support of a biological family. In order to leave the hospital after giving birth, she needs to have a certified car seat. She hopes to get a 2-in-1 stroller and car seat system that is both practical and safe for her newborn. Having this system will give Alaisha peace of mind, knowing she can safely transport her baby to daycare and checkups while she continues her studies toward her college degree.
