Ava spent much of her childhood in and out of foster care. She was diagnosed with lupus at a very young age, which affects her ability to live life like any other ordinary kid. Despite these challenges, she has not let them hold her back from pursuing her dreams. She attends college part-time while also working a full-time job. Ava has big aspirations to do good in the world.

Ava’s journey through foster care and her health challenges can sometimes feel isolating, especially when she has to balance a full-time job and school. Because her condition can limit her ability to go out and socialize late at night or in poor weather, a PS5 would allow her to connect with friends and the global community from the safety and comfort of her home. It provides a social outlet that doesn't put physical strain on her body, allowing her to build a support network of peers who share her interests while she gives her joints the rest they require.
