Judy lives with her grandparents, who became her foster parents after she entered kinship care. Their house feels warm and safe, filled with the smell of her grandma’s cooking and her grandpa’s old country music playing softly in the background. Even though life has changed a lot for Judy, she’s learning that family can look different but still feel like love. Her grandparents make sure she has what she needs and remind her every day that she is strong, brave, and deeply cared for. Judy loves being outdoors, especially playing soccer. She enjoys the thrill of running on the field, feeling the wind in her hair, and hearing her friends cheer her on when she scores. After school, she and her friends go to the park to play tag, climb on the jungle gym, or kick a soccer ball until sunset. In those moments, Judy feels happy and free, laughing with friends and appreciating the joy, support, and love from her family.

Judy wishes for an Alexa speaker so she can listen to music in her room whenever she wants. Music helps her relax, feel calm, and lift her spirits, especially during quiet moments when she needs comfort or a sense of peace. Having an Alexa speaker would allow her to easily play her favorite songs, adjust the volume, or change playlists using simple voice commands, making music more accessible and enjoyable. This would help create a soothing, positive environment in her room where she can unwind, feel safe, and express herself through music.
