Fostering Hope - MontcoLucas is a sweet boy living in foster care with a family of seven. He brings so much joy to those around him and is growing and thriving every day, always wearing a little smile on his face. He has just begun to giggle when spoken to, which is a wonderful development. Despite having suffered extreme abuse early in his life, he is starting to understand that the world can be a safe place. He is truly a special little boy.
Lucas experienced severe neglect in his home. There are currently charges pending against his family, as he entered care with fractures in both of his legs. Because of this, he needs to wear casts while he heals, making it challenging to get him in and out of his infant seat, which has left him uncomfortable. Even though he is still very young, a convertible car seat will allow him to travel more comfortably during his recovery. With numerous doctor visits, Lucas spends a significant amount of time in the car, and he will appreciate riding in a larger and cozier seat.
