Alijah is becoming more engaged with his surroundings, following sounds and staying awake for longer periods. He is attempting to roll over and enjoys tummy time. He has a strong appetite, loves to be held, and appreciates when people interact with him through conversation. Alijah receives support from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).

Alijah is happily crawling around and has begun trying to sit up on his own. It's only a matter of time before he takes his first steps. His young mother, just a teenager, is eager to help him adjust to having shoes on his feet. She wants to get him a pair of infant shoes to keep his little feet warm while they venture outside this winter.
